For the seventh time, Sofia will be the Capital of the Balkan Wines

For more than seven years, the Balkans International Wine Competition and Festival (BIWC) has become a common name for the prestige and popularity of the wines from the region.

Every year, the interests of both the international jury, which this year is very strong with 4 Masters of Wine and 1 Master Sommelier, as well as numerous importers, traders, media and wine lovers, are growing. Since this year, the BIWC regulation has been changed and the wines will be evalued by the 100 point system (so far the evaluation has been carried out on the 20 – point system). One medal has been added: DOUBLE GOLD as a great marketing tool for communication and as a bridge between gold medalists and Trophy winners in different categories.
