A great friend of wine left us. Plamen, the owner of Meik 98, one of the largest wine distribution companies in Bulgaria. We all knew him just as Plamen – bohemian, generous, kind, with a huge heart. He built the company as a benchmark for professionalism, which he had passed on to his entire team. For the last 10 years – a major partner of BIWC, an important link for the success of both the Competition and the Festival. On behalf of our entire team, I express my sincere condolences to his family, as well as to all his colleagues in the company, who I am sure will continue to dedicate themselves to the cause of good wine in Bulgaria.

Rest in Peace, Plamen! We will remember you with your big smile!
