Pasi Ketolainen MW - Panel Chair BIWC
Pasi Ketolainen MW, MBA: Pasi Ketolainen graduated as a Master of Wine 2020. He also holds an BSc in hospitality management and an MBA with academic achievement award (2018). After a career as an awarded sommelier (the CIVA Alsace trophy 1998 & the best restaurant wine list in Finland 1999) Pasi completed his WSET Diploma in 2003 among the first graduates in Finland. He has worked in commercial and product management positions for various wine importers in Finland. Pasi speaks fluently four languages, has partner and board member experience, and has consulted in an advisory role on strategy, customer relationship management and start-up company development. He has also represented Finland in Nordic sommelier championships (2001) and international blind tasting competitions. Pasi judges at international wine competitions, lectures on wine, and conducts educational tastings.
