Ivana Simjanovska - Senior judge BIWC
Ivana Simjanovska is a wine author, publisher of two wine guides on wines from North Macedonia and author of the first Slow Wine Guide North Macedonia, co-founder and president of “Kalem-enje”, association of wine consultants and educators, that organizes wine events and conferences, promotion’s manager for Slow Food North Macedonia. She has been promoting wines from North Macedonia single-handedly at wine events around the world for more than a decade. Ivana is also the Promotion’s Manager for Slow Food North Macedonia, and works as wine guide for North Macedonia Experience and wine consultant in her home country. For almost a decade she has been writing about wine on her blog www.ivanasimjanovska.com and for nine years (2013-2021), she was editor-in-chief of vino.mk, the first wine web site in the country. Ivana has been a longtime international wine judge at some of the most prestigious wine competitions such as Mundus Vini, Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, The Balkans International Wine Competition, Grow du Monde, to name just a few.
